 Alongside his work at Retail Sparks, Dr. Abdi continues to practice as a radiation oncologist, where he’s been fortunate to help expand access to advanced cancer treatments like lung SABR, CNS FSRT, and spine SBRT. 

Much of his clinical work has focused on building collaborative, team-based care alongside colleagues in urology, neurosurgery, ENT, and surgical oncology. His approach is rooted in listening, learning, and finding practical ways to improve outcomes for patients.

Dr. Abdi holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD), a Master of Education (M.Ed.), and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC). Coming from a background where resourcefulness and grit were essential, he brings a grounded, people-first mindset to both his medical practice and entrepreneurial work—blending technical knowledge with a genuine commitment to service, innovation, and impact.
